Araghchi says Iran has no plans to execute protesters

Iranian authorities have no plans to execute protesters, and such an option is not even being discussed, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.

“This is one of the elements of a disinformation campaign launched to draw the US president into all this, which could have disastrous consequences,” Araghchi stated.

According to him, there are currently no protest demonstrations in Iran, and the situation in the country is calm.
