Iran–US talks may begin in coming days

Negotiations between officials from Iran and the United States could take place in the coming days, a source familiar with Iran’s Foreign Ministry told Tasnim.

The source reported that two Iranian officials are expected to participate in the talks.

According to the source, the exact time and location of the negotiations have not yet been decided. The discussions are most likely to take place between Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US President’s Special Envoy for Middle East Steve Witkoff.

Earlier reports suggested the possibility of the talks being held in Turkey in the coming days.
