JD Vance arrives in Yerevan with family: Who welcomed the US vice president?

A short while ago, the plane carrying US Vice President JD Vance, along with his wife and children, landed at Yerevan’s Zvartnots Airport.

Vice President Vance was greeted at the airport by National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan,  Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, and Armenia’s Ambassador to the US, Narek Mkrtchyan.

Vance is on a two-day visit to Yerevan, after which he will travel on to Baku.
