Date set for discussion on Iran’s new supreme leader

Iran’s Assembly of Experts will hold a session within one day to discuss the election of a new Supreme Leader, said council member Ayatollah Hossein Mozaffarin.

“Members of the Assembly of Experts are eagerly awaiting the session to discuss and set the conditions for selecting the new Supreme Leader and the successor of the martyred Imam [Ali Khamenei],” Mozaffarin said. “We hope this will take place within the next 24 hours.”
