The court in Azerbaijan has extended Former State Minister of Artsakh Ruben Vardanyan’s pre-trial detention term for four months, the Azerbaijani media reports.
Vardanyan was illegally arrested by the State Border Service of Azerbaijan in September, last year, when he was leaving Artsakh. He has been charged with “financing terrorist actions”, “participating in the creation and activities of illegal armed organizations or groups” and “illegally crossing the state border of Azerbaijan”.
