CSTO secretary general calls Pashinyan’s decision to attend or not to attend organization’s summit sovereign

CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov told TASS that Armenia continues its activities in the CSTO, and every issue on the agenda is decided in due course.

“The CSTO and Armenia, as a member state of our organization, are not experiencing the best period of their relations,” Tasmagambetov said.

According to the official, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s decision to attend or not to attend the CSTO summit in 2024 will reflect the sovereign choice of his country.

“Besides, a lot can change before the summit, hopefully for the better,” Tasmagambetov said.
