Advocate: The court decided to take Makhsudyan’s son into custody without giving the advocates the right to speak
The court decided to take Vahagn Makhsudyan, the son of reservist colonel Mihran Makhsudyan, into custody. Makhsudyan’s advocate Hovhannes Khudoyan confirmed the information in a conversation with ABC media.
“The court investigated the case very quickly, in 2.5 hours, did not respect any defense rights, did not give a word to half of the advocates and did not allow the investigator to ask questions,” Khudoyan said.
According to him, the judge had been assigned to announce the decision very quickly, despite the fact that the defense presented facts indicating that custody could not be imposed in this case.
To remind, Makhsudyan was charged with hooliganism. When Yerkrapah’s car drove toward the protesters in Noyemberyan and cursed and injured Makhsudyan’s leg, Makhsudyan hit the windshield with his hand.
