Vahe Hovhannisyan: Nikol is facing his electorate

Public reconciliation is becoming a reality before our very eyes. Coordinator of the “Alternative Projects” group Vahe Hovhannisyan made a Facebook post on this.

“Something fantastic is happening now. The primate of the Diocese of Tavush leads the people of Tavush who voted for Nikol to Yerevan in pursuit of the truth. This is not only about those who are participating in the holy march, but also about the majority of the population that already put their hopes on another person and another process.

Public reconciliation is becoming a reality before our very eyes. About 70% of Tavush residents voted for Nikol, and a higher percentage in certain villages. This means that now Nikol is facing his electorate.

This also means that regardless of who voted for whom or did not vote, everyone feels unprotected and cheated today. Therefore, everyone can stand by each other and demand peace and truth together.

This is not a conflict of electorates; this is not an election; this is not a party process. And therein lies all the charm and potential. And this is exactly what will deprive these authorities of their power, which is lies, treachery, bile and cheating.

This may become a movement that could ensure peace within the country and peace along the country’s borders,” Hovhannisyan wrote.
