Ruben Karapetyan: There must be a national reconciliation; We cannot move forward without that
I have been part of this movement from the very beginning, when we founded the coordinating center for Armenian statehood together with the people of Voskepar, a diplomat and former ambassador Ruben Karapetyan told ABCmedia.
“No one can foresee anything, but this is just a way of a national and just uprising to show disagreement about the policy, especially about the so-called “delimitation-demarcation” plan—the plan being imposed from without—with which our Government is going ahead at the expense of the territorial integrity of Armenia. The people of Tavush, led by Archbishop Bagrat, have risen up, and now I am where I should be,” the diplomat said.
According to Karapetyan, today every Armenian will have to choose which side they are on.
“The crisis is so grave that we cannot move forward without a reconciliation agenda. There must be an internal reconciliation that could unite our nation,” Karapetyan noted.
