At the court hearing at the Baku Military Court, Vagif
Khachatryan asked the judge to acquit him.
Khachatryan had his last word at the court hearing. He did
not plead guilty and asked the court to acquit him.
Khachatryan’s Azerbaijani advocate also asked the court to
acquit him.
To remind, today, the prosecutor requested a 15-year prison
sentence for Vagif Khachatryan.
Vagif Khachatryan is from Artsakh. He was abducted from the
illegal Azerbaijani checkpoint over the Hakari bridge from the ICRC vehicle on
his way to Yerevan from Artsakh. He was coming to Armenia to undergo medical
treatment.
