Peskov: The talks between Putin and Pashinyan are necessary and expected
Spokesperson for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that the upcoming talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, to be held today in the Kremlin, are necessary and expected.
In response to the question as to whether the Kremlin expects that Armenia may resign its membership in the EAEU, Peskov said that membership in the organization brings a noticeable increase in its members’ GDP. He emphasized that the EAEU development is in the interests of all member states.
According to Peskov, the EAEU countries know this and certainly, the share of this integration process in the annual growth rates of the GDP of the EAEU countries is noticeable.
