You will act within the law, not using any violence; I will stand first in line; Archbishop Bagrat’s call on law enforcement officials

Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan talked about the statements issued by the Armenian law enforcement agencies. The latter said that they are going to stop every anti-state action.

“I will advise the law enforcement agencies to use a mirror—to use it when leaving home and when coming back home. If any clash breaks out, they will be responsible for that, and they will be the ones to blame. Right now, I am telling you to act within the law, not to use any violence, and not to do anything illegal against your own people. I will stand first in line; any violence will be intolerable. We will stand in front of you; these people are not without a leader. You intimidated and humiliated these people, so now they have come out to struggle for their dignity and rights, and for you as well, law enforcement officers. The NSS and the Police, I’m specifically appealing to Vahe Ghazaryan. We broke bread with each other; we shared salt and bread. I know you well; you know me too. Should there be any illegal order, responsibility will fall on you and your direct supervisor,” he concluded.
