This is an unprecedented thing; they acted like scoundrels: Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan on Catholicos being refused entry into Sardarapat
In a conversation with ABC media, Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan, the primate of the Diocese of Shirak, commented on the Catholicos of All Armenians being banned from entering Sardarapat Memorial.
“This is an unprecedented thing; they acted like hooligans, like scoundrels. They surpassed even the Bolsheviks. On the 29,743 square kilometers of the Republic of Armenia, there is not a single millimeter that the Catholicos of All Armenians does not have the right to go. What can one say to these hooligans, they are political hooligans, state hooligans,” Archbishop Mikael said.
According to him, our state has been occupied by anti-Armenian, anti-national authorities, which we must get rid of right away.
