Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan: Only a madman can aspire to war, but also only a madman can aspire to a beggar’s peace

This struggle is about values and civilizational transformation, about truth, justice, victory and ultimate reconciliation and an agenda built on it, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan said during the rally in Republic Square.

“Only a madman can aspire to war, but also only a madman can aspire to a beggar’s peace, which itself constitutes the biggest threat of war,” Rev. Bagrat said.

He noted that Armenia should not be a theater of war of geopolitical forces, which is the ways of these authorities. “Armenia should act according to the principle of combining the interests of power centers, those of partnership ties, and cooperation,” he said, highlighting the importance of renouncing the foreign policy of “antis”.

The Holy Father noted that relations with partners and allied states should be restored, and new allies and friends should be found at the same time.

“And the core, the principle, the “red line” for all this should be our own Armenian agenda, far from servitude and the promotion of solely foreign interests,” Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan said.
