Azerbaijanis harvest grain sown in 10-hectare field by seven residents of Kirants
“I saw and will confirm that the grain was harvested,” Karen Ghazaryan, a member of the Acharkut Council of Elders, told ABC media.
Earlier, Gohar Vardanyan, a resident of Kirants village, wrote on Facebook that Azerbaijanis harvested the grain grown by the residents of Kirants.
“Today, people in Kirants remembered how years ago (during the First Artsakh War) they allowed Azerbaijanis to pass through the Armenian territory and harvest the grain they sowed. Why did they remember it today? This is because today the Azerbaijanis harvested the grain that the people of Kirants had sown in the lands now considered Azerbaijan after the border delimitation and demarcation,” the resident of Kirants wrote, adding the hashtags “Is this peace?”, “Another reason to be proud”.
To remind, the process of border delimitation and demarcation started in Tavush Province in early June, due to which the village was divided into two parts by a wall. Armenians are on one side of the “security” wall, and Azerbaijanis are on the other side.
