Russian Foreign Ministry: The increasing Western influence on the Armenian media resources will have no good consequences
At a press briefing, Andrey Nastasin, the deputy director of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, commented on the appointment of Armen Koloyan as the executive director of the Public Radio of Armenia.
According to him, it is already clear that the increasing Western influence on the Armenian media resources will have no good consequences.
“The Americans and the EU are trying to turn public sentiments against Russia. They want to reduce the role of centuries-old Russian-Armenian friendship and that of the influence that Moscow has shown and continues to show to fraternal Armenia in various fields,” the official said.
To remind, Armen Koloyan used to work at Azatutyun radio station.
