Maduro: X social network’s operation has been suspended in Venezuela
X social networking service has repeatedly broken the laws of Venezuela, and its operation in the country will be suspended for 10 days, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro said.
“The social network that used to be called Twitter, now X, is owned by Elon Musk. And it broke all of its Twitter rules. It has spread hatred and fascism, provoked civil war, and pushed Venezuelans to confrontation. There are laws in Venezuela, and we are going to enforce them. Therefore, I have signed the proposal of the National Commission of Telecommunications, which provides for the disconnection of X social network in the country for 10 days,” Maduro noted.
