Russia says Ukraine’s operation in Kursk planned with NATO and West involvement
An aide to the Kremlin has claimed that NATO and the West were directly involved in the planning for Ukraine’s attack on Russia’s Kursk region, the BBC writes.
Speaking to the Izvestia newspaper, Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev noted that U.S. statements saying they were not involved were “not true”, Reuters news agency reports․
The White House says Ukraine did not provide advance notice of its incursion and that Washington had no involvement
Meanwhile Ukraine has set up a military office inside Russia, which it says will “meet the immediate needs” of the population in the area.
