The court partially approved the motion put forward by the Probation Service regarding the replacement of the measure of restraint imposed on Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan with imprisonment.
“The court replaced the March 28, 2022 sentence of five-year deprivation of the right to hold the position of head of the local authority for the term of imprisonment of one year, eight months and three days against the convict Arush Arushanyan,” Varsenik Melkonyan, a judge in the General Jurisdiction Court of Syunik Province, said.
