In November, under Hungary’s presidency of the EU Council, the Armenia-EU expansion schedule will be approved, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said in a Facebook post, noting that the dialogue on facilitating the visa regime began yesterday.
Szijjártó also noted that soon a joint economic committee will be established and cooperation in the field of atomic energy will begin.
“Under our presidency of the European Union, Armenia received €10 million in aid from the European Peace Facility,” the Hungarian foreign minister wrote, also noting that Armenia and Hungary will open embassies in Yerevan and Budapest.
Szijjártó is attending the Yerevan Dialogue international conference in Yerevan.
