Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met with Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev in Baku.
During the detailed conversation, ideas were exchanged on international and regional issues of interest. Special attention was paid to the Middle East, with a focus on the development of the military-political situation in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict zone and southern Lebanon.
At the same time, Moscow and Baku affirmed their commitment to continue close cooperation in foreign policy coordination, both in a bilateral format and on various international platforms.
