Azerbaijan has officially confirmed that Armenia has been invited to attend this year’s COP29, the U.N. climate change conference in Baku. ABC media has sent a request to the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to find out if there is already a decision on participation.
“Public information regarding the participation of the Republic of Armenia in any international conference is published in due time,” the ministry said.
Earlier, it was reported that Nikol Pashinyan would address the issue of Armenia’s participation in COP29 during the press conference to be held in August. However, this press conference scheduled for August did not take place.
To remind, COP29 will be held on Nov. 11. Representatives from around 80 countries will attend the conference.
