Wildfires raging in US

California authorities have declared a state of emergency in Los Angeles due to wildfires. The fires have spread to several areas in the western part of the city. Residents have been instructed to evacuate. Approximately 30,000 people live in the evacuation zone in the Palisades area. Local officials have reported that around 10,000 homes are at risk.
