Former Adviser to the State Minister of the Republic of
Artsakh Artak Beglaryan refuted the claims about his candidacy for the post of
the Artsakh president made by various internal and external forces.
“I can unequivocally state that I have not discussed this
possibility with anyone. The thought of it has not even crossed my mind, as I
have not had such a desire. As for those who claim that I am related to this or
that external force, let them think about their own sponsors. I am not like you
and will not turn to external forces to settle internal issues.
Moreover, I do not consider myself fit for the position of
the country’s president due to various circumstances. I am ready to faithfully
serve my homeland to the best of my abilities. However, everyone should do
their service in the right place and through the right means,” Beglaryan said.
He noted that he is ready to support the next president of
Artsakh no matter who he is going to be.
