MP Tigran Abrahamyan from the NA With Honor faction made a
Facebook post, stating that the authorities are trying to bring
“trumped-up cases” against some members of the military, regarding
Lieutenant Colonel Ara Mkhitaryan’s case.
“A week after the death of Lieutenant Colonel Ara
Mkhitaryan, who had been in a coma for four years, the RA Investigative
Committee officially reported that they completed the investigation into the
false report regarding three military officers.
Let me remind you, that according to the media and
Mkhitaryan’s family and fellow soldiers, former Gov. of the Vayots Dzor
Province from KP, who is an MP now, and his inner circle were engaged in the
violence against Lieutenant Colonel Ara Mkhitaryan,” the MP wrote.
Abrahamyan noted that, in the past four years, the
authorities have done their best to get the people related to them out of the
criminal circles and now are trying to bring “trumped-up cases”
against 3 servicemen.
