KP complaining about shadow government in Gyumri and terminating memorandum with Balasanyan Alliance

The Civil Contract party has unilaterally terminated the
memorandum on cooperation with the Balasanyan Alliance social party. The
memorandum was signed on Oct. 30, 2021.

“Deputy mayors Artur Papikyan and Vahagn Mkrtchyan will
submit their resignation letters. The reason for such a decision is that Gyumri
is not governed under the RA legislation, and a shadow government runs the
city. This makes the activities of the Gyumri Municipality ineffective,” a
representative of the Civil Contract party said. .

To remind, yesterday, KP impeached the elected mayor of
Alaverdi, electing a KP member as a new mayor.
