It is encouraging to see progress on some of the most
important points in peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Standing
Rapporteur on Armenia, MEP Andrey Kovatchev made a Twitter post on this.
“The negotiations between the two countries must continue,
while in parallel the blockade of the Lachin corridor must be lifted and all
illegal checkpoints must be removed. The population of Nagorno-Karabakh has to
be able to access humanitarian aid and basic supplies must reach them to avoid
a fully fledged humanitarian crisis,” Standing Rapporteur on Armenia, MEP
Andrey Kovatchev tweeted.
