Ukraine agrees to Putin’s proposed Easter ceasefire

Ukraine has agreed to the Easter ceasefire proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

“Kyiv has repeatedly stated its readiness to take reciprocal steps,” Zelensky stated.

He noted that Ukraine had also proposed a ceasefire during the Easter holidays and would act accordingly.

Russian President Vladimir Putin had announced a ceasefire in connection with the Easter holiday.
