US seizes Iranian vessel in the Gulf of Oman

US military forces have seized a cargo vessel sailing under the Iranian flag in the Gulf of Oman, US President Donald Trump said, according to RIA Novosti.

According to the US president, the vessel attempted to break through a naval blockade but failed.

“Our vessel stopped it. The Iranian ship is now under our full control, and we are currently inspecting what is on board,” Trump said.

“Our Navy ship stopped them. We have full custody of the ship, and are seeing what’s on board,” Trump stated.
