Macron highlights France–Armenia ties on Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day

French President Emmanuel Macron has marked the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide with a post on X, emphasizing the enduring ties between France and Armenia.

“On this April 24, the Republic commemorates the Armenian Genocide of 1915 and bows in memory of the victims,” Macron wrote.

“This is an opportunity to remember, to pass on, and to underscore the unbreakable bond that unites France with Armenia and the French people with Armenians.”
