Peskov says all details on Armenia’s EAEU membership will be worked out by December

The quadrilateral statement of the EAEU leaders assumes that all details related to Armenia’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union are expected to be worked out by December, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

He noted that the respective agencies of the countries will “report on the progress of this issue” to the leaders.

“All of this will be discussed by December,” the Kremlin spokesperson added.

Recently, EAEU leaders issued a statement suggesting that Armenia should hold a referendum on whether to join the EU or remain in the EAEU.
