US conducts 1st test of Golden Dome for America missile defense system

The United States has carried out the first test of the Golden Dome missile defense system.

“Today, the first milestone test of Golden Dome for America (GDA) was a full mission success — and I was honored to witness it firsthand,”  War Secretary Pete Hegseth wrote on X.

Hegseth and the Pentagon’s chief technology officer Emil Michael took part in a demonstration of laser and microwave weapons in New Mexico.
