Football fans take over Buenos Aires streets to celebrate Argentina’s World Cup final berth
Thousands of Argentines took to the streets of Buenos Aires to celebrate the national team’s qualification for the FIFA World Cup final.
Fans gathered in the city center near the Obelisco de Buenos Aires, a traditional location for celebrations of major victories by Argentina’s national team.
Due to the large crowds, one or two streets were closed.
On July 15, Argentina defeated England 2-1 in the semifinal to reach the final, where it will face Spain.
