New York mayor doesn’t rule out Netanyahu’s arrest if he attends UN General Assembly

New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani has said he does not rule out the possibility of Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu being arrested if he travels to New York for the UN General Assembly session in September.

Mamdani described Netanyahu as a war criminal for whom the International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant, adding that the city’s authorities would act in accordance with the law.

At the same time, he said the city would not introduce new measures specifically for this purpose.
