India’s education minister resigns amid exam paper leak protests

Indian Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned following weeks of mass protests and mounting political pressure, Al Jazeera writes.

The unrest was triggered by the leak of examination papers, particularly for medical school entrance exams.

Pradhan has submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
