Iran vice president says Israel, US have failed to achieve goals against Iran
Iran seeks to resolve international issues through dialogue but is prepared to respond decisively to external pressure or any attempt to impose military action, Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref said, according to IRNA.
“We are not seeking war or conflict, and we want to resolve issues through negotiations. However, if war is imposed on us, we will defend ourselves very effectively,” Aref said.
He added that neither Israel nor the United States had been able to achieve their goals regarding Iran, pointing to what he described as the Iranian people’s historic resilience in the face of external threats and sanctions.
