Macron thanks Turkey for support in fighting wildfires

French President Emmanuel Macron thanked Turkey for its assistance in battling wildfires in a post on X.

“Thank you, Turkey,” Macron wrote, sharing a video showing one of Turkey’s firefighting aircraft.

Turkey has provided assistance to Spain and France in efforts to contain wildfires across southern Europe, supplying each country with two firefighting aircraft.
