Turkey ready to support southern Lebanon reconstruction

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said Ankara is ready to provide full support to Lebanon in rebuilding the southern regions of the country that were affected by Israeli attacks.

Erdogan said that, following the withdrawal of international forces, Turkey wants to be engaged in all initiatives aimed at “ensuring and strengthening Lebanon’s sovereignty.”

The Turkish president also said that Turkey will continue to support the Lebanese armed forces.
