According to the source, mediators are cautiously optimistic about the future course of negotiations and hope that a ceasefire will be announced soon.

The channel also reported that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is expected to visit Islamabad in the near future. The exact date of the visit has not yet been announced.

Earlier, Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar invited his Iranian counterpart to visit Islamabad as soon as possible. Iran has not yet officially confirmed the report.

US President Donald Trump previously said that Washington was holding talks with Tehran and added that discussions included the possibility of resuming shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
