Ozon shares fall 10% after drone attacks on warehouses

Ozon shares fell on the Moscow Exchange following a series of drone attacks targeting the company’s logistics facilities.

The shares fell 12.71% from Friday’s close to 2,600.5 rubles (about $32) per share. Compared with Saturday’s closing price, the decline was nearly 10%.

The sharp drop in Ozon shares began on Saturday, when they fell 3.02% to 2,889 rubles following reports of drone attacks on the company’s warehouses.

A large-scale drone attack overnight on Aug. 22 damaged Ozon logistics centers in Russia’s Samara and Orenburg regions, forcing the evacuation of more than 300 employees.

Last night, drones also targeted the company’s warehouses in Russia’s southern regions, including Krasnodar, Makhachkala, Adygea and Nevinnomyssk.
