CSTO Secretary General: Armed conflicts are highly likely to lead to catastrophic consequences for the entire world

CSTO Secretary General Taalatbek Masadykov has warned of rising risks of large-scale conflicts that could have grave consequences for the world, National Defense magazine reports. According to him, military-political uncertainty in the world is intensifying, and the level of militarization in countries and regions is on the rise.

“Given that modern armies possess a large amount of sophisticated and lethal weapons, armed conflicts are highly likely to lead to catastrophic consequences not only for the countries directly involved, but for the entire world,” Masadykov said.
