Georgian Foreign Minister discusses regional situation with Canadian official

During her visit to Canada, Georgia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Bochorishvili, discussed the situation in the South Caucasus and security issues with Ahmed Hussen, Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development of the Canadian Parliament.

In addition to the current regional situation and security matters, the meeting focused on the importance of Georgia’s role as a bridge between Europe and Asia. Amid existing regional challenges, the parties emphasized the significance of close cooperation with international partners.

They also underscored the importance of supporting Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
