The Kremlin is discussing the transfer of S-400 systems from Turkey to a “friendly country”

The issue of relocating Russian S-400 systems from Turkey to a friendly country is on the agenda, and appropriate work is underway, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov told TASS.

“The topic is on the agenda, relevant work is being carried out, and appropriate contacts are taking place,” he said.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Russia does not rule out the possibility of transferring S-400 missile systems from Turkey to a third friendly country, though no such requests have been received yet. As the minister clarified, such a transfer is impossible without Russia’s consent.
