Georgia and Azerbaijan agree to accelerate border delimitation and demarcation processes

"We have agreed to accelerate the processes of border delimitation and demarcation with Azerbaijan," declared Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze.

According to him, the issue was discussed during both the meeting of the intergovernmental commission and the bilateral talk.

"We expressed hope that work within this process will move forward at a very rapid pace. As you know, our position on this matter remains unchanged. We need to see progress. This is our request and appeal to Azerbaijan, to which we received a very sincere response. Together with our Azerbaijani friends, we aim to achieve progress in areas where no headway has been made so far," he added.
