Five hours to get from Kentron to Davtashen
Traffic jams in Yerevan have reached the point where delays are measured in hours. Some people are late for work or classes, while others spend five hours covering a journey that should take just 20 minutes.
While city officials talk about deploying more tow trucks and improving traffic management at intersections, long-standing problems remain unresolved, including overcrowded public transport, a lack of alternative ways to get around and insufficient parking spaces.
Why has travelling just a few kilometres across the capital become an hours-long ordeal?
