In fact non-existent: Peskov on the state of security relations with Armenia
Armenia is currently de facto not participating in the work of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said, TASS reports.
“Virtually non-existent, in fact,” the Kremlin spokesman said when asked about the state of security relations with Armenia.
“You know that Yerevan is currently de facto not participating in the CSTO’s work. You have heard Yerevan’s official statement on its position regarding the advisability of continued membership in the CSTO,” Peskov explained.
“Indeed, certain steps are set out in the organization’s founding documents. What happens next will depend on the nature of the discussions held within the organization,” he added.
