Huge earthquake strikes Turkey 

An earthquake, measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale, occurred near Izmir, Turkey, the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of Turkey (AFAD) reports.

The earthquake was also felt in the coastal areas of the Aegean Sea.
