Yerevan State University professors of the Chair of Armenian History find the new bill proposed by the MoESCS worrying.
YSU historians came up with a joint decision. They presented in detail which points are a matter of concern and said how the problem can be solved. “The process of turning Armenian history into the history of Armenia is an anti-national move and is not in the interests of Armenia,” reads the statement. An anti-national and populist move: this is how experts describe the bill aimed to change the name of the subject.
