Water filters supplied by UK denied entry to Gaza by Israel

Israel blocked water filters provided by the U.K. from entering the Gaza Strip, saying they pose a threat, Al Jazeera reports, citing British MP Rosena Allin-Khan.

According to her, 1,350 filters were included in the humanitarian aid package that the British government sent to Gaza in October last year.

The Israeli authorities, however, did not allow the cargo to enter the Palestinian enclave, saying it is a threat. “What threat does a water filter, supplied by the UK Government, have?” Allin-Khan wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
