EHang Holdings, a Chinese manufacturer of compact aircraft for the transportation of people and goods, has put unmanned flying taxis up for sale on Taobao, a Chinese online shopping platform.
Their receiving safety certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) last October paved the way for the commercialization of these innovative electric air vehicles.
The cost of one such air taxi is 2.39 million yuan ($332,060).
It reaches a speed of 130 kilometers per hour and carries two passengers.
